- Please practice diligently on set piece and Ross roy, sectionals are coming up, i'm sure your section leaders would want to do more things other than notes and rhythm. Don't give stupid reason like you can't practice.
Other than practicing diligently also practice smartly, don't just play the piece and say you have practice, check if you have take in good air, good posture. Check your rhythm yourself, how to do it? Sub-divide it, i'm sure even sec one can do it, because it's like maths, just divide it slowly if you have difficulties, try it out yourself so that you can understand it more than your senior teaching you. Did you play all running notes out? every single notes can be heard? ( it's your air, push every notes out!) Articulation, Sing it out, then play it.
One more week before band resume, it's up to you to choose whether you want to disappoint Mr wong, or make him happy.
Even if you want to rest, i think the previous week is more than enough, If you insist to rest, go and ahead and rest because the gold medal will not come to you.
If you dream for something, yet you didn't put in any effort, that dream will always be a dream
Two more weeks to the exchange, it's also up to you to choose if you want to perform well, or to perform badly and embarrass yourself.
We need every member to work hard and have this goal together, not your band leaders and Sls or some members only.
